Since 2013, we have building a solid dynamic partnership with Grand Isle Shipyard (GIS) in the USA. This key relationship allows MODS to strengthen its market position by providing innovative solutions to the American oil and gas industry.
“This dynamic relationship gives us additional capabilities and flexibility to meet the growing needs of our customers globally,” said Jon Bell, CEO at MODS
“Our innovative approach utilising the technical data that already exists, yet rarely used in the 3D model, delivers positive cost and time-saving results to our clients”. GIS identified the value in MODS services as a tangible cost-reducing solution for the oil and gas industry. Together, we can actively promote MODS capabilities to a much wider audience.”
Mark Pregeant, CEO of GIS said, “GIS is focused on growing MODS with a core management team who has first hand oilfield experience, together we are taking generations of oil and gas experience and merging it with new technology, giving the industry a service they can depend on, for performance review, cost reductions, safety, and integrity."
Established in 1948 in Grand Isle, Louisiana, GIS began as a modest company serving the commercial fishing industry. It quickly evolved, entering into the emerging Oil & Gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico. It has now celebrated seven decades of success and continues to service the oil and gas industry nationally and internationally. With nearly 1800 employees, 4 strategically located facilities, and 23 service lines, GIS has the resources to span the complete life cycle of our customers projects, and the capability to provide solutions in the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. We align our services with operations from the development stage of major projects, through construction, commissioning, and ultimately decommissioning.
