Virtual Manager’s tagging system consists of taking the joint information (P & ID / ISO’s) given prior to the actual project’s start date ( work packs) and assign numbers to the flanges associated with joint integrity, giving a specific identification to each flange.
Tags are transported to the offshore platform and delivered to the Joint Integrity coordinator.
The tags will be separated into specific work packs. The JI coordinator(or equal) takes the tags and applies them to the associated work packs and tag the joints. Once the joints meet the flange alignment criteria the flange will be tagged giving a visual indicator the that flange is ready to be torqued.
